Discover recruitment opportunities across some of Eurasia’s most promising international education markets. The Student Recruitment Tour EURASIA connects universities with ambitious students and leading schools in Azerbaijan, Uzbekistan, and Kazakhstan through events in Baku, Tashkent, Almaty, and Astana. While primarily focused on undergraduate recruitment, the tour also includes a dedicated postgraduate component in Astana, enabling engagement with both bachelor’s and master’s candidates. Designed for efficient travel and meaningful interaction, the tour offers universities a valuable platform to build visibility, meet motivated applicants, and strengthen their presence in a region where demand for international study continues to grow.

Why take part in the Student Recruitment Tour EURASIA?

Connect with Outstanding Students Across Eurasia
The Student Recruitment Tour EURASIA gives universities access to a highly motivated pool of students across four of the region’s key education centers: Baku, Tashkent, Almaty, and Astana. Throughout the tour, institutions will meet 1,200+ prospective students from 25 carefully selected partner schools, including many of the region’s top international schools offering the IB and other globally recognized curricula. This creates a valuable opportunity to engage directly with students who are actively planning their international education journeys.

Focused Engagement by Study Level
The events in Baku, Tashkent, and Almaty are tailored to undergraduate recruitment, bringing together students who are currently preparing for bachelor’s studies abroad. The Astana event offers a broader scope, welcoming both undergraduate and postgraduate candidates. This allows universities to connect with students exploring bachelor’s pathways as well as graduates and young professionals considering master’s programs.

Well-Prepared and Internationally Minded Candidates
Students participating in the EURASIA tour typically come from academically strong schools with robust counseling support. Many follow international programs such as the IB, and receive structured guidance throughout their university selection process. As a result, universities meet students who are informed, ambitious, and genuinely interested in studying abroad, leading to more meaningful conversations and stronger recruitment prospects.

Dedicated Postgraduate Opportunities in Astana
The Astana event places a strong emphasis on postgraduate recruitment while also including a dedicated morning session with high school students exploring undergraduate study options abroad. In the afternoon, universities will meet final-year bachelor’s students, recent graduates, and early-career professionals considering master’s degrees internationally. This format allows institutions offering both bachelor’s and master’s programs to engage with a broad spectrum of prospective students while presenting specialized postgraduate opportunities, research pathways, and career-focused study options.

Present Your University and Academic Strengths
Participating institutions can deliver presentations and interactive sessions that highlight their academic offerings, student experience, and career outcomes. These sessions help universities build credibility, deepen engagement with students and families, and strengthen their presence within Eurasia’s rapidly expanding international education market.

EURASIA as a Student Recruitment Market

Eurasia is a rapidly developing region for international student recruitment, driven by young populations, growing middle classes, and expanding international secondary education. Uzbekistan, Kazakhstan, and Azerbaijan each show strong outbound mobility and increasing awareness of international degree pathways, particularly among students in major urban centers such as Tashkent, Almaty, Astana, and Baku.

Uzbekistan is one of the largest outbound markets in the region, with around 110,000 Uzbek students studying abroad, placing the country among the global leaders in outbound student mobility. This rapid growth reflects strong demand for international education and expanding access to global study opportunities.

Kazakhstan has a long-standing culture of overseas study, supported by scholarship programs such as Bolashak and a growing middle class. According to UNESCO estimates, roughly 90,000 Kazakhstani students are enrolled abroad, with demand expected to continue rising as the college-age population grows.

Azerbaijan is also a significant outbound market, with approximately 50,000 Azerbaijani students studying internationally, supported by government scholarship initiatives and increasing family investment in global education.
